Go into the menu to Channel tab. Set the input mode to Cable.

A small screen should appear in the top left part of the screen. 4. Using the remote, select "Memory Recall" and Enter. 5. Power off and reboot the TV and Computer. 6. Run channel auto-scan to regain the picture.

This can happen if the output from the computer has the resolution set higher than your monitor is capable of displaying, or the refresh rate is higher than the monitor can display. Set the refresh rate to 60Hz. Try connecting a friend's monitor temporarily.

did you have an installation disk?? If so it may not have loaded in the setting to make the sound card accept the monitor..Or simpler--is the right wire plugged into your computer for the sound??
color codes don't always match for generics.

Try unplugging the TV from the AC outlet for at least 10 minutes then plug it back in. Let me know how this work out.

screen resolution probably the problem if you have another moniter like a crt(which can support higher resolution) change it to the lowest level resoultion and then put in you lcd moniter and see if it works and if it does change the resolution to a comfortable level for you

Start your Windows in Safe Mode (pressing F8) during boot process and adjust your Display Settings to a lower resolution.... say 1024 x 768. Once fixed, you can play around again increasing the resolution a notch at a time. Fix ya!

Start windows in safe mode - press F8 on the keyboard during the boot process and wait for the startup options menu to appear. Select Safe mode and see if this works. If so, then once in safe mode, change the display settings to a lower resolution. the maximum resolution for this monitor is 1024x768. Set it to 800x600 to see if it works at the lower resolution first.

You have weak capacitors in the power supply.If you are handy with a soldering iron you can take the back cover and follow the power connector up to the p.supply circuit board. there you`ll see cylindrical shape capacitors with values like 220mfd/35v written on them, look for rounded top on some of these(there might be 3or 4).they need to be replaced,find them in electronic stores and observe polarity when replacing them.and don`t forget to always unplug the set before working on it. good luck
