you want to check power coming into unit... do you have power at the switch... there was alot of issues a ton etime with there power control switches and thermostats... check incoming power to unit and see if the switch has failed... also these units have small controls on them that will fail from time to time. you are going to have to see where power has failed at.

try leaving unplugged for a couple hours then plug back in

pull it out and lay hands on the compressor and see if its running if not replace the thermostat

contact avanti cust svc they are easy to work with and want you happy tell them your promb but i suspect you need a new themostat

it is replace able but if you get the new door is better for you.
