Champion Juicer stopped working
Hi I had the same problem yesterday and emailed Champion Juicer about the problem here's their reply below, his suggestion worked.
Hello Duane,
Your machine is equipped with a magnetic start system which will only allow
the machine to start when you have the screenholder all the way in place
just as you would have it to start juicing. If you do not have any parts on
the machine it will not start. Please assemble it again and give it a try.
If it still wont start call me at 209-369-2154 for further assistance.
Thank you
Carl

It could be one of many things. Have you tried cleaning the juicer? Maybe take to a small appliance repairer or call the manufacturer.. I will be glad to continue to assist you.

Juicer stopped working suddenly. Nothing happens
The pulp container was a problem. When you take out thecontainer, you will see a little (very very small) hole that if you push withsomething like toothpick it makes sound like "click" I guess when weput the pulp container back, the container is supposed to push the safetybutton ( bottom area), but I think the part of the container that push thebutton was broken, and it didn't start, so you can just put something smallinside the hole before you put the container back to the juicer, so it coversthe missing part.
The motor could be bad also. Try this solution, if theproblem still exists then you probably need to call manufacturer.
Good Luck.

Motor won't work on Champion unless I press on part
it probably has developed a loos connection inside. Pressing on that part reconnects the loose connecion inside the machine. If you are someone with a good mechanical aptittude, you may open it and somehow make a hood connection again. The problem should be obvious, and straight forward to fix.

Cleaning inside the cutter
I've been using my Champion for about 20 years, and have always used a very thin coat of olive oil on the turn shaft before sliding the cutter on. I've also used it before I've used the grain mill, and it has been fine.
If I were you, I think I would get out as much Crisco as I could with a chopstick (or something similar), put in some liquid soap, and some hot water. I would think that would loosen anything that was compressed or stuck. It might take a few times, but that's what I would try....or you could order a new cutter from Champion. I've had to order parts from them in the past, and they have been great.
Hope this helps.....
Problems dismantling champion juicer
It's like a suction is created. I have had this happen. I managed to get mine off with a blunt knife to give a bit of leverage (not ideal I know to put a knife near an expensive piece of equipment but it worked for me) Once you have the blade cutter off I suggest oiling the metal prong that it sits on with something like vegetable oil or olive fairly regularly to avoid this happening again.
