Desperately need Panasonic NV-GS50 USB
Connect to your PC with a 1394 cable. When Windows Vista finds it, it will install the driver and you are ready. I did this after first connecting with a standard USB cable and getting a "compatability conflict" message. Now I am up and running.
Should this fail to work, contact Panasonic Camcorder helpline on 0844 844 3869.

Tracking?
Download the tape onto your computer into a software editing program DV's are digital so there might just be something hanging up or dust. Then when you burn your disk make sure that the quality is set on high and have it double check the data before writting. This should collect the loose fragments and put them toghather.

Unit language
Download the driver from the site then in the help menu go to the language setup. You might have to guess your way around in this but refer to Panasonics other insturuction manuals you should know when you scroll to the english section.
Also refered to as nv-gs50e or nv-gs70e. Go to
http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Drivers-and-Downloads/list-75489-Camcorders#Anchor_13 it will be the third driver from the BOTTOM. This model has been discontinued so support for later windows editions are not likely. Windows 2000 is the last version you can always run your compatabilty mode with 2000 for optimum preformance.

How to record from mini dv tape to computer
FROM MISS AISHA KONE
EMAIL: [email protected]
ABIDJAN COTE D IVOIRE
Dearest Beloved one,
Based on your profile, l am happy to request for your assistance and also to go into business partnership with you, i believe that you will not betaryed my trust which i am going to lay on you.
I am Miss Aisha Kone ,22years old and the only daughter of my late parents MR.and MRS MUSTAPHA KONE. My father was a highly reputable busnness magnet-(a cocoa merchant)who operated in the capital of Ivory coast during his days. It is sad to say that he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his business trips abroad year 12th.Febuary 2006.Though his sudden death was linked or rather suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who travelled with him at that time.
But God knows the truth! My mother died when I was just 4 years old, and since then my father took me so special. Before his death on Febuary 12th 2006 he called the secretary who accompanied him to the hospital and told him that he has the sum of Eighteen Million United State Dollars.(USD$18 000 000) left in one of the Banks here in Abidjan.
He also told the secretary to let me know that i should looks for company directors or manager who knows about investment in overseas to help me transfer this fund in their country for investment and management while i will further my education.
I am just 22 years old and a university undergraduate and really don't know what to do. This is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. The death of my father actually brought sorrow to my life.
Sir,I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards.Your suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded. Now permit me to ask these few questions:-
1. Can I completely trust you?
2. What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you?
Consider this and get back to me as soon as possible.
Thank you so much.
My sincere regards,
MISS AISHA KONE.
