as said somewhere else on here, take all the screws out of lighter part of the bottom of the camera, you will then see all the flat cables, push them all in and move left to right slighty. put the battery back on and see if it works. if it doesn't just do it again. did this to mine just now and it works fine again.

No, This is the Main Battery Symbol. Try Charging Battery then try if it still has same discharged symbol then replace this battery with new one. thanks Keith
