If the beep is happening every second or so with out you touching it, the printer has a fault. If it happens when you press buttons, try this: If you press clear (CL) and press some of the numeric buttons, you should see numbers appear on the display. If not, probably a keyboard fault. Enter your secret PIN number and press the CASH# (cashier number) button in the top corner (on most models in this series) to log on. Receipt can be set to simple format or detailed format. All are depending on the setting by programming, like change job # 904, 905, 908, 909 ... some sale information may be omitted or added on.

If you are using the right reading table,You need to have your keyslot cleaned up so that Z becomes Z and X _-X
