Try to re install driver and make it your defauld printer. Check your wireless conection.

Your printer is looking for your old router. Reset the printer:

• Verify that the printer is powered on.
• Press and hold down the Report Page button.
• While holding down the Report Page button, press the Cancel button three times.
• Release the Report Page button.

If you get this error: Top Cover Open. The device cannot print because the top cover is open. Close the top cover and press continue, or cancel the printing. then follow this guide: HP Support document HP Support Center

Pop off the right side cover - it is just held with clips. At the hinge, you will see that the cover switch arm that is supposed to move up and down as the cover opens & closes (in the slot in the geared hinge) is probably broken off. It is in the up position when the lid is closed, and down when the lid is open. I cut the shaft of a Q-tip to length and wedged it into the space to keep the cover switch up all of the time and still allow free movement of the lid. Geezer Geek

Once you plug in the printer it should try to install driver software. If it does not do this automatically then you can use the disc that came with your printer. Once this is installed try to print with Microsoft word or any other program and make sure the correct printer is selected. Hope this helps!
