My printer hp psc 1315
It's not a printing problem ' it's your networking' try using the cable provided with your printer via usb' if it prints ok' then you need to reconfigure your printer settings' updates or clean re install.
Unable to "communicate with TWAIN data source." ??
This may happen because of overload to memory. If all are ok and still this error comes up means, the twain driver takes more time to load. wait for some seconds and then click scan, it will go.
Try to clean the hard disk and defrag the drive.

Why won't a new tri-color cartridge print red?
Tri color cartridge contains Cyan,Magenta & Yellow color inks, mono cartridge contain black ink, combination/mixing with these inks desired color out put will prints on paper.. If any one or more inks are missing/dried, result mis matched print outs on paper.
In your case I feel it's Magenta ink is not firing..,nozzles may clogged, try to clean the nozzles with solvents & try it...If no result ,. replace the color cartridge..
Printer HP 1315 shows "Door Open" and does not respond to printing call
This is a more common occurrence than you might expect. The "door" referred to in the error message is actually the portion of your machine that must be lifted up in order to gain access to the ink cartridges for replacing them. You will notice that a protrusion on the lower side of the "door" surface fits into an opening in the surface below the door when the door closes, and this contacts with the door status switch to close the contacts on the switch, telling the machine that the "door" is closed. If indeed the door is fully closed, with nothing obstructing the switch from performing, then that would indicate that either the switch is defective or has come loose. After replacing cartridges, the "door" must be fully closed or you will see the error message. For troubleshooting procedures to solve this problem, go to this link:

A test print page may show distorted characters at the beginning, but the characters should be shown correctly towards the end of the test page. If this is not the case then I would suspect that at least one of your cartridges is not seated properly. Open the cartridge access "door," and check the cartridge positions. When you remove and replace a cartridge, the new cartridge should be pushed back as far as it will go and then the front end of the cartridge lifted until you hear it snap into place. When seated properly, the top of the cartridge will be level.
HP 1315v Printer Makes grinding noise and won't feed paper anymore
It sounds as though a sheet of paper or an envelope bunched up and has jammed inside. Until that is removed from the feed roller, you will continue to hear the 'grinding' sound, and won't be able to print anything. Remove the cover from the backside of the machine, then locate and remove the obstruction. If you don't have any such obstruction then you have a mechanical defect which is not user repairable.

can you be more specific when you say the printer is off line. do you mean it cant read wireless access or is it that it is not set as default. make sure you have it as a default printer otherwise it wont be seen by the computer.

Which USB port Damage because there are two USB port available.
One is Printer USB port or Sec is PC USB port.
If you are say PC USB port not working first you check it USB driver installed or not, or USB connect to motherboard or not. PC there are two side USB available one is front side and sec is back side. You connect only back side, because this USB connect to main board. So you connect only back side. If not working removed driver or installed driver.
Or if you are say printer USB then change cable or port or not solved only change option.
