Preprinted 4 part paper crunching up when being printed in epson lq680 printer
Mustafa: The printer is not meant to use multi-copy carbon invoices. The cause of your problem is the double-feed prevention pad below the paper pickup roller. When the first form is fed, the double feed prevention pad will stop multiple paper feeds. With multi-page carbons, the paper feed roller is trying to feed the form, and is pulling the top page of the form into the feed rollers while the double-feed prevention pad is stopping the bottom form from feeding and the top and bottom pages are sliding because of the carbon paper between the sheets. The only solution that I know of is to buy a printer with a tractor feed and pre-printed fan-fold forms with tractor feed strips on the sides of the forms.
My printer dont print
Hi
The first thing to check is the cable replace and try to print. If still the printer does not respond then you can check to make sure the port on your computer is working. If you are connecting to a USB port then try to use a pen drive etc., to make sure its working. If connected to LPT then try to go to DOS mode in the Command prompt try to give the command as C:> DIR>LPT1 this should print a list of files on the root directory of C: if this is printed then the problem may be with your application.
Try to make sure of the printer is set to be used as off-line or Pause printing.
When I print tables, the lines come out crooked.
do the print head alignment... to do this..first switch OFF the printer and then load paper, press the Pause button while switching ON the printer.. the printer will then print the instruction for you to align the print head. Just follow the instruction and select the best printed line.
If when you print text or line, and you notice there is some part missing, this show that you print head have broken pins. If this happen, you will have to replace the print head.
