You can buy an ethernet controller that pligs right into any USB port.

Try www.fujitsu.com. There is a drivers download section there or you might try one of the other download sites like drivers.com or google the e600 and find a drivers download section. Happy hunting!

oh, if you could send me a photo of how HIS computer looks like from behind, then it would be easier, since many of the outports are similar, and to a color blind person, some outputs may be mixed up with one another. more or less the name of the computer would probably be enough, but a photo will be faster

You try to change the sources to see. Because your machine has been at the situation like this. If not you should still check the mainboard is not whether there is moisture. You should check the 4 pin 12v capacitor in jack on the main.

Assuming that your monitors are good, if nothing is shown on the monitor, that means it does not receive any signal from the computer (or CPU). When you bought it, did they show you the computer and monitor are in good working condition (that means Windows desk top screen comes up on the monitor if it is a PC). If everything was OK when they showed you, but when you took it home, it does not any more, then maybe something became loose while transportation.

Make sure that when you turn the computer on, you hear the fan on the power supply and inside the computer running, and there should be some lights in front of the computer . If you do not hear anything nor see any lights in front of the computer then that is the reason nothing comes up on monitor. If it is the case, you may want to remove the cover of the computer and physically inspect inside the computer to see if anything becomes loose while transportation.

Front fascia of case is part of cover. Press in side catches and at same time push with thumb on dvd drive - cover will slide forwards.
