I just fixed this problem for my computer. Try installing the scanner driver. You probably have the printer driver installed but the scanner driver is needed for Smarthru

first check if the driver its suitable for the operation system you use...cause if the driver is for Xp and you upgraded to vista you may have to change it too..and the way around...after you are sure the driver is the right one ...go to device manager and look for the printer ...if you find it with a yellow mark ..it means its not installed even if the driver is ...click right on it into the device manager and choose update driver ...it will start a wizard that will actually install the driver into the system 32..divers...

Turn off the printer and open the printer back door. Use a spot light and give look inside properly. Make sure there no paper. Some time small part of the paper creates the problem. So you can do one thing after open the back door, top side etc make the printer upside down etc. So if anything inside that's will come out. After cleaning again connect it with PC and turn on. Now give a look. If you face same problem then Un-install the printer driver and software from the PC. Then restart the PC and Printer both. Now connect the Printer with PC via USB and install again the driver & software. Then try to print and let me know the result.

You could try uninstalling the software then reinstall or make sure Samsung scx-4100 printer is selected as your default printer..Hope this helps cheers nikki

seems as if the motor responsible for taking in the paper has stopped working and may need to be replaced

the fuser is the part that melts the toner on the page if you open the door on the back the part you see with the two rollers ione is orange the other has a teflon coating on it this is the fuser. they are no longer available

Have you tried to delete the print job from the computer? After that is done reset the printer by turning it off (30 sec) then on again. If that doesn't work take the paper out and start cleaning your printer with canned air, Q-tips and a cap full of water.
