Hi with Windows8 Microsoft introduce store a place from where you can download application otherwise you are still able to download any program from internet unless the option to download is blocked by administrator or anty virus program or there is some problem with website.
the top feeder is supposed to be able to open giving you complete access to the workings of the top feeder
and also when removing the paper work gently, and check to see if you removed the complete page and that a piece hasn`t torn off and is still stuck inside
Hi, If all pages have the lines, even when printed from a pc or a selftest page, most likely printhead issues.... should be a cleaning cycle in the menu, if the lines only appear on photocopies then its a scanner issue..... could be something on the scanner glass or a defective scanner..... would have thought it is a blocked jet in the printhead as its quite common with inkjets.
Most likely there is a problem with the default "Calibri" Font in the body template of Normal.dot.
temporarily change the default font to say "Times new Roman", then download another version of the Calibri font from internet or copy from another PC.
Reduce the scan resolution or breakup the scan job to be saved into multiple documents.
It is likely that you are using 32bits OS or 32 bits office software.
A 64bits OS + 64bits Office 2010/2013 would be able save larger documents.
I think, there is None.
You have only tray 1 so manual feed must also be done using tray 1 by taking out all the other papers
If that is too inconvenient, get the optional tray 2. Fill that with paper and leave tray 1 for manual feed
Try using the MAINTENANCE feature on the printer, clean the heads, align the heads, etc.
If sqeeking is from the roller, a small drop of oil where the roller is mounted, DO NOT GET OIL ON THE RUBBER PART OF THE ROLLOER IT WILL RUIN YOUR PRINT OUTS.
"Won't connect online" is kind of vague so I will do my best to answer. I am assuming you mean that you cannot connect to the wireless on your device. To connect to your wireless use the touchscreen on the front of your device. Choose Settings, then wireless, choose scan for networks, and then choose your network. Enter a password if required. I have provided a video of a similar printer that may be of some assistance.
Remove the feeder tray and using your fingers (printer turned off and unplugged), rotate the rollers by hand the opposite way that they normally travel. So in other words, 'pull' the roller towards you. It may help if you have the machine upside-down too, so that the dropped item can fall out if the lid is open.
This is purely down to the scanner settings. In the scan settings, choose the resolution and if to scan in monochrome (or B&W) or colour. SAVE the settings. Try a rescan and you should find that will work.
