Inside cooling coil frosted up? turn to run inside fan only until melted away & restart. Possible reasons for this a)dirty condenser down at the compressor which could be brushed but DON'T bend the fins. b0 refrigerant leaked out thru a existing crack. c)poor compressor pumping ability. d) excessive load of warm air entering the cabinet so the system can not reach the request temperature & shut off the compressor to allow that frost to defrost off the evaporator(inside fins) or the system does get too cold & then frosted to the point & never shuts the compressor off so it can defrost.

0 is warmwst,9 is the coldest.set it at +2C so that wine/beer dont freeze.beer is best served at 2c.

If I am not mistaken, the True line-up of coolers have a temp control on them that is labeled 0-9.

This particular type of temp control is a coil temp control. I measures the temperature of the coil rather than air temperature.

Always set the control to the warmest setting and move it colder by one number at a time until your product reaches and holds designed temp. Do not go by cooler air temperature as there will be a great swing in temp especially if the doors are used frequently. Always temp the product. In the case of beer, your ideal holding temp is between 35-38°.


If you set the temp control to the warmest setting and the cooler is still freezing product, you will need to have the cooler serviced be a refrigeration tech. It will most likely be a bad control but there may be underlying problems.

BY to I take it yu mean top area inside cooler. If that is the case and yu are sure the drain is clear it could possibly be one of the following.
1: rusted/ corrodid evaporator drain pan
2: coil in cooler partially frozen

Most fluorescent lighting have ballast in them it more then likely just needs replaced. I have included a how it works link for you HERE
