Hi
Error Code "Er FF" indicates a problem with the unit's freezer fan. The freezer fan controls the temperature in the freezer. The source of this error is most likely ice buildup. As with the Er IF error, allowing the unit to thaw should resolve the issue. This can be caused by frost accumulation on or around the freezer fan. Unplug the unit for 3-4 hours to allow this to melt off. If error code persists, call Customer Service.

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very, very carefully.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
First I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system. The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater, heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

Hi, I just replaced the
Hello,
Welcome to FixYa,
If you remove the small white square cover from the icemaker head, ( just pulls off ) you should see a small screw as shown here...
I'm not certain of the direction to turn for more or less water (larger or smaller cubes) but you can experiment with it...just make small adjustments of 1/4 turn at a time though.
Let me know how you make out or if you need further assistance and I'll help in any manner I can.
Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck.
Regards,
Macmarkus :)

Smell in kitchen water
Is your supply line plastic or copper? If its plastic then that can absorb a smell. There is nothing in the icemaker that would make it smell. You may need to replace the supply line and the inlet line that feeds the icemaker. Is there a smell in the kitchen faucett?

Will not get cold
A BI 95 will run until the thermostat is satisfied. The it closes contacts between red and yellow to advance icemaker. Make sure thermostat is set at a warmer temperature. 10-15 degrees is what your looking for in the bucket. After you turn it down and it doesnt cycle then make sure it wires right. Red terminal 1 yellow terminal 2 blue/black terminal3 Or it could be to warm (heavy frost needs defrosting) If everything is running and not cooling then a sealed system is expected. Also make sure you have the right icemaker if not then that could cause everything. Sensor needs to be in the tube about 12 inches.

Nothing other than let the water run at 1/4 throttle in an attempt to clear the nasty tasting water from the supply lines. Let it run for maybe an hour and taste it again.
Working on the lines might have shook loose the foul taste way back up the system. I would hope an hour would clear it but it may take more.
Some cities with less than perfect water will flush their supply lines by opening fire hydrants in a certain pattern designed to shake loose deposits from inside the supply pipes. They often report that people have bad tasting water for days afterwards - perhaps in a few days you might get your relief too?

WATER FREEZING IN ICE MAKER
check 2 things. Make sure the fill tube is going downwards to the cup inside. The second thing is when the valve shuts off make sure it closes right away. If it doesnt then replace the valve.

U line BI 95 icemaker is making but not ejecting made Ice
First thing to do is find the temp in the bucket. Should be between 10-15 degrees. If its colder then try turning the thermostat to a warmer setting. If its warmer than this then the unit is not getting cold enough. Look at the cendenser to make sure that its clean. If thats good you might have to check the thermostat. (if its 10-15 deg) Check the wiring. red goes on terminal1 yellow on 2 and blue /black on 3. The control might not be switching to harvest position. Wait until you hear the compressor and fan shut down then look at the icemaker. If not advancing then replace the thermostat.

Give-me plis a wiring digram manual of the Ice
Your going to call U-line and ask for it. 800-779-2547. Now what are you trying to do? I can give you the wires on the thermostat. Terminal 1 is red(icemaker) Terminal 2 is yellow(common) Terminal 3 is blue/black(compressor and cond fan motor) When yellow and blue or black are closed this will run the compressor and fan.Thermostat is satisfied then the red and yellow are closed and it advances the icemaker. Ejector blade at the 12 oclock calls for freeze cycle. at 2 calls for heater to come on(inside icamaker) at 10 oclock it trios the water switch and calls for water. Then back at 12 oclock calls for freeze cycle. Temps should be 10-15 degrees in the bucket. Warmer the setting the more ice it makes.
