My LG 670 also said 'boot' after a upgrade attempt and appeared stuck there. I searched LG support for a factory reset option, which is: Disconnect the LG power cable from the wall / power stripHold down the power button the front of the player for 30 secondsRe-insert the power cordTurn the player back on. Note: my player showed 'boot' again for a few minutes, then shut off. When I turned it on again, it went through the normal power up cycle, then shut itself off (weird). I turned it on again. So far, so good.

Hi you may need to update the firmware of the DVD player. If that don't work it may be the DVD player itself.

Greetings key5151 - Unfortunately there are no region code hacks or fixes for this player.

You might want to occasionally check in at videohelp.com HERE. It is unlikely that anything will turn up as LG has locked down this unit tight.

Hi this player is multi region code free . There is no code region for this appliance. Please check other possibilities that cause your player malfunction.
