some dvd players dont play all dvd. i think the dvd player dont support the format of your dvd movie try a different dvd movie.This msg show up in every dvd you try to play????

That set is a beauty if it is equipped with the built in DVD player--they were all poor quality---only possible but not easy thing is it can be got at by removing entire front grill beneath the front screen and has only a few plugs to actually remove the unit.I presume you have tried to change inputs with the remote etc.

Are you prepared to spend $400 maybe more to fix it? The cat pee isn't the problem. It is either the SSB or power supply.

have scenium d52w135d combo burnt power resistor in deflection board,do i need to replace the the whole board? or just the resistor,and where can i find this resistor?

my rca 52 projection tv started to shut off on its own after some research I pulled the main board and replaced three capacetors that looked suspect replaced board and tv worked fine for 3 days and went out again any suggestion.

Had the same problem. With mine the other day you probably moved your Playstation 3 too another tv and set your 1080i,720,480 to high deaf on settings in Playstation. You have to change them back to automatic that TV says HDTV but it only plays Playstation 3 on 480 checked in settings of Playstation. Played mine for 4 years on that TV moved and got a 3d wifi then dad got him one And was going to trash that RCA but I told him I would take it for now too keep from buying another TV at this time got it in my new home wouldn't play video but it. would sound tried different cables but still now change. But remembered i changed all of my settings over when I got 3D TV. Playstation 3 hadn't been on know other TV. Since I owned it but that RCA now won't work then came to me last night and playing it on both TVs but you have to change the settings on it before moving it or you cant see the screen to fix it do that guarantee it will fix it. Like you said everything else works PS 1,PS 2,DVD, cable,but PS 3 won't its the settings in theme,and audio.

Make sure your cable wire is hooked up correctly and screwed in all the way as well as all the other wires on your cable box

RCA Scenium HDTV (Model #: D52W135D)(Chasis # ATC221) WILL NOT TURN ON!! When plugged in after a while of being unplugged the front power light will flash green lights first once...then 9 more times. I can hear the static in the back but nothing will turn on. It really sucks becuase we were just watch yesterday, turned it off after a while of it being on(I don't know if that matters) then the next day in the morning I tried to turn it on and it wouldn't turn on... :Z PLEASE HELP!!

That is true, but it is also true that if you set the values to the preset you do not corrupt anything. Even if some adjustment may be needed the TV usually works OK with preset settings. If there is a big alignment or geometry problem after setting TV to default, then rather than adjustment, there is usually a fault. Here a manual that teaches you how to do adjustment on RCA TVs.

Ensure that you have entered the right presets for this TV. Here the default settings for this chassis. The H values are included, but they should not be changed unless CRT is replaced (see note at the bottom of chart). Click on picture below to enlarge:

This problem is due to loss of high voltage in your tv. Without it the CRTs won't power up and hence there will be no picture. Most common causes of this problem are damaged flyback, HOT(Horizontal output transistor) and/or Horizontal/Vertical deflection circuit. If you have prior experience in handling high voltage electronics I can guide you with the repair. Otherwise its best left to a tech. 30,000V is not to be messed with.

Sounds like you have multipath distortion.

That means the radio waves are bouncing off something and you are getting two signals arriving at slightly different times.
