Your tabet should have some kind of a File Manager in the apps main menu. Open it and look for the Download folder which should appear when you open the internal SD icon. Open the Download folder and you should see your downloaded files. You have the option to select one or more of them and the selected ones you should have the option to delete. When you insert an SD card in the slot the tablet will *mount* it automatically. This means it connects to it and formats it and adds some files and folders so it can utilize it.
