Liftmaster Garage door Opener. I need a manual site for a garage door opener with this part # 41a5021-d

Question edited for a lot more clarity. Question moved form Cars and Trucks category. The part number you stated is the logic board on a Liftmaster Garage Door Opener. No, the cable is supposed to spiral wound around that pulley. It is connected to the spring which takes the weight of the door. You need the model number to find the manual. https://www.google.com/search?q=part+%23+41a5021-d ..

Hi there. My coromaster 2000 has

Recategorised from Vacuum cleaners to 'at least' a Garage Door Opener category. This unit is only available in South Africa, and we are a North American website which is probably why help was not forthcoming in 2017.. There is some general help here though for setting travel limits. https://www.google.com/search?q=coromaster+2000+has+lost+its+limits ..

If these problems started immediately after a lightning storm, the printed circuit board is probably damaged. Contact a garage door service company (check the phonebook) for diagnostic support.

When I open my garage door no lights come on. I changed out both lights with new bulbs, still no lights when I open or by manually clicking the Lights on the wall opener

Check the light sockets on either side of the garage door opener and make sure there is no corrosion on the contacts. If you see some corrosion unplug the garage door opener and scrape off the contact. Give that a try and lets see what happens.

My garage door won't go down and keeps blinking 10 times.

first, hold the wall button down and do not let up and the door will close for you. second, one of the wires to your sensors is loose, broken or shorted out by a staple thru the insulation. you can bypass the sensors on a temporary basis while you find the issue, by jumping the sensor connections at the motor.

It could be the garage door motor that is acting up. Try closing it with the button in the garage. If that's not the case, you may need a different garage door opener.

When pressing remote, there is a short electrical hum, but the door fails to move. Up or down.

Sounds like the opener has opened to far and the trolley is now jammed against the stop bolt.

Garage door will close, stays shut for a few

The opener is closing too far. On the side of the opener, you should see 2 white knobs, recessed into the side. Using a flat blade screw driver, adjust the close knob (closest to the door side of the opener), anti-clockwise until the door will close gently on the floor.

Garage door light blinks but doesn't stay on

Three blinking lights & door won't close by Candi (Winston-Salem, NC) Garage door will not open and close with remotes. Three blinking lights occur when we try to close door. What does this mean? It is a Linear unit. I will assume you mean that your garage door will open with your remote but will not close. It should close if you press and hold the wall control button until the door is fully closed. If that is the case, the 3 blinking lights indicate that your garage door's infrared safety beams are not properly aligned. 1) Check that the operator has power. The green lights on the sender and receiver should be lit. 2) If the receiver's green light is on, but the red light is off, the receiver has power but is not detecting the infrared beam from the sender. The red light might flash when the beam is partially detected. This can be caused by mis-alignment or something blocking the beam. Adjust the safety beam sender and receiver while watching the receiver's red light (stay out of the beam while aligning it). When the red light stays on, the beam is aligned and your garage door should operate normally. http://www.linearcorp.com/pdf/manuals/LCO75.pdf NOTE: If the receiver's red light remains off, check for: 1) Dirt on the receiver's lens, 2) Sunlight shining into the receiver's lens, 3) A short in the safety beam wiring (from staples or at the operator terminals). http://www.linearcorp.com/pdf/manuals/LCO75.pdf

One senser is green one is amber

Make shure that the green and amber lights on the sensors are solid and not flickering ! most of the time when a sensor is not aimed exactly at the other sensor it will give a weak signal and not allow the door to come down , we call this a constant hold down since you have to physically stand and hold the wall button down for the door to go down , Your sensors are made up of a receiver and a sender , The sender always will be lit but the receiver may not receive a strong signal since it,s beam may not be pointing at the sender ...check to see if that's the case, also look for cob webs around the sensors since that can also trigger this , another thing that people always do is put brooms and shovels near the sensors and wind up getting a bad signal because a shovel is in the way of the beam , Check these things and you should have success in fixing your problem ! Hope this helps Sincerely Glenn

How much is gear kit for 1/2 #41A2817?

Gear kits can be purchased for chain drive machines from any of these 3 brand names ...Liftmaster/sears craftsman /chamberlain / All 3 of these brand names are manufactured by Liftmaster the worlds largest maker of garage door openers and related parts ! You can purchase a gear kit on ebay for around $30 or less depending on the seller ! If you go to garage door parts sites it will be slightly higher so your best bet is EBAY , The gear kit only requires the main gear and sprocket housing that attaches with 3 screws , just remember after the gear is installed that you run the motor co that the trolley starts in the door down position otherwise you risk having the trolley smack into the opener , this is crucial for any travel adjustments that are made later! Hope this helps you ,sincerely Glenn

Door suddenly will not close without holding the

It definitely sounds like a sensor problem. In normal operation, one sensor will have an amber or yellow light on, indicating power to the sensing circuit. The opposite sensor should have a green light on. If the yellow light is not on there is no power to the circuit due to a broken wire or circuit board failure. If the green light is not on or is flickering, the sensors are not aimed at each other or the light path is blocked.
