Yes you can use the watch in Europe; you need to set the town to the one on the same longitiude; There is a table at the end of the instructions which will give a list of cities built into the watch.

If yours is like mine, there are four buttons on the watch. These are at 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock. Hit the 8 o'clock 6 times. You get a digital readout of time and the letters HS. Then press and hold the 10 o'clock until it flashes. Then use the 2 and 4 o'clock buttons to advance or ****** the analog hands. Hold them for fast advance/******. Momentary push for fine adjustment.
