Same problem. Heartbeat sound, no picture, no sound....

If you have no audio or video and the TV is making a chirping or clicking sound the most likely cause is the convergence chips have shorted. You can get the parts and instructions on how to do the repair from www.TvRepairKits.com

Jvc i art pro doe not turn on

The clicking sound is the TV trying to restart itself. It generally attempts this several times before giving up. The blinking code indicates the type of error (error codes are documented in the manual for the TV). The most likely cause is a burned out bulb, but could be something else.
If it is a bulb, it is usually replaceable without a service technician, and at a cost far less than $450.
Good luck.

1. disassemble front speaker panel.

2. locate circuit board in front with the 2 large black or silver heat sinks standing up. (this is your convergence board).

3. disconnect all the wires on this small board, but make sure you take a picture first to know where they all go.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

I art JVC 46 inche double vision

If you do not have hand soldering skills or know how to use a multimeter, I would suggest to replace the whole assembly.
If you know how to solder you can just replace 2 ICs that are mounted on the big black heatsinks and possibly 1 or more resistors.
Click here to find the entire assembly for your TV.
Good Luck.

Big screen tv repair

There is a short in this TV set somewhere. The TV set is trying to come on but because of the short, the power supply shuts down. No if it is not the over current shutdown, it could also be the main power supply with an over voltage shutdown protection mode. These are solid state TV sets and should only be worked on by trained techs. Good Luck
