A Samsung Dishwasher SE Code, but no problem with drain,as it works great on rinse cycle

Samsung isn't the greatest dishwasher oem, and a lot of their sensors have not had proper real-world testing. I had a water sensor get wet and it kept thinking it was flooding s it would drain before starting a wash. Could ber food or plastic stuck in the drain area. I would buy a new seal for the pumpo compartment before removing it, or just a new housing. once you remove the torx screws from the bottom and lift that civer off, the rubber seal will be very difficult to replace because the rubber ends up being oversized for the channel and will have excess somewhere. i cut mine but not sure that's the best option. Glad mine was a sidewalk find, but now I know why. It was set upside down and developed mold inside. That's why my sensor was all messed up and getting to it was a huge ordeal. There was as lot of stuff in the bottom of the garbage disposal area. A metal pin was sticking through a housing wall. Various broken plastic parts were in there. If I had known all the problems, I would not have picked it up. It is nice and quiet though. But that's not good if it doesn't work!

My Samsung Dishwasher is not drying my dishes? What am I doing wrong?

First, are you using Rinse-Aid (Jet-Dry)? If not, that is your problem. New dishwashers (as part of this green, ecological, environmentalist-wacko movement) have cut back on the heating during the dry cycle, as a consequence, it is now imperative that you use rinse-aid to help with the drying. My dishwasher gives an E3 error

The E3 error code is not a defined error for this dishwasher. If you are sure it is E3 then best option is to give the controller a reset. This is done by Press the Delay Start + Normal + Power keys at the same time for two seconds to enter Service Inspection Mode. - "ALL" is displayed for the first three (3) seconds and then "t1" is displayed. Press OFF at this stage. Do not attempt to run the inspection as this could damage the dishwasher unless you are familiar with the what each mode does. If the Error E3 keeps coming back then call the Samsung technician.

I have a Samsung DMR57LF

Hi

The issue seems to be with the plastic part located on the connector that clips into the arm that is falling, if that is broke you have to replace it, in a 19 months old dishwasher I don't think that the arm can go bad. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

You wil have to excuse my lack of knowledge. I am

Take out the top rack and inspect the pipe nipple that the rack slides onto. Make sure that there isn't any debris stuck in it. Next pull the wash arm in question off (it just pulls off) check for debris (toothpicks are the biggest culprits and food particles (sometimes glass so be careful). You should find something in there. The wash pipe goes from the bottom to the top of the unit, if the bottom one works and the top one works then your clog HAS to be in the middle wash arm. The water clearly makes from point A to point C so C has to have an obstruction or the wash arm is sticking and not spinning freely. Try to spin it my have but really inspect it for debris. Good Luck.

Error F1 on sansung dishwasher

F1 fault code is an indication that you have a water leak. Before calling in a professional, try to troubleshoot the problem on your own. Many times it can be something as simple as a leaky hose, a broken seal or a blocked drain hose causing the F1 error.

Additional details and codes in Samsung/DMR57-00026A_EN.pdf

Hope helps.

I have 5E showing on my dishwasher. What is does

ost common error codes that are caused by installation errors are:
  • 5E. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, It can be caused by a kinked drain hose. A good indication that the drain hose is kinked is excessive water in the bottom of your dishwasher after a cycle has been completed. If your dishwasher is displaying error code 5E, your dishwasher will have to be removed to inspect the drain hose for kinks. If your dishwasher was professionally installed, contact the installer to remove the dishwasher and inspect the drain hose. If you installed the dishwasher your self, the dishwasher will have to be removed for drain hose inspection.
