Well, this may happen because off several things.

I can give you some tips (by steps):

- First you have to make sure that the toner bottle spins (if that doenst happen it could be a faulty clutch).
- Than you need to see if the tonner supply (the green handel that you place the toner) are good.
- After that you just have the TD sensor. This sensor is on the Developement Unit.

Well, i am just giving you a clue. If you do not have thecnical knoledge i advise you to call your provider.

1. Go to this code with "Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
2. Go to System Settings
3. Go to 5875
4. Check the setting of SP5875-001. If the setting is set to "1 (OFF)",change it to "0 (OFF)".

Try checking or changing the thermistors!The metal contact spring on the thermistor broken causing all sorts of 'unrelated errors including 'Please Wait' sc 670 and sc 402...

The best way is to update the firmware in the copier. You have to download the current firmware and put it on a flash card and and plug it in to port 2 after powering down the copier. Power it back on and the firmware will set itself up to your copier.

Try to reset : enter in SP mode ,open the front door and turn OFF the copier.Unplugged and Wait 2 minutes ,plugged and close the front door and turn ON the copier.If is do not work your problem is in the BICU board.

SC390 = Toner Density Sensor abormality

Possible causes:

• Poor concentration of developer
• Toner density sensor faulty

Are the prints/copies coming out ok? If the copies are very faint or heavily overtoned then changing the developer may cure the error code. If the copies look OK then you probably need to get the toner density sensor replaced by an engineer.

No such code for that model. But the 500 range you mention is fuser related. Replace the fuser....but parts are no longer made for that model...it was made in 1999.

It can be dirty ID sensor it retires the image unit and it cleans it… This happens when mylar of the cleaning unit is damaged…

Hi.Dear i advise you to-replace only Drum unit.cuz i facing this problem so many time if isn't possible for you to change complete drum unit then change only drum. but if you want to check this problem just once time replace complete drum unit with drum don't fix previous drum. and please don't wast ur time on heating unit :)Best Regard'sSyed Babar AliCopier International TradingCell: +971556272142

Most of the time is trash on the network.
Also SC990 sometimes occurs if the signal timing during scanning and printing causes a delay in the process.
There is a firmware that fix this error. You need to download it (if you know how to do it of course).

Is absent Block of the Manifestation or is drived activator of the sensor, sensor burns out seldom and can be unplugged (on the right at the top on block)

sc 322 is a laser unit problem. find a ricoh technician and clean the laser unit or replace it. this laser problem is hard to solve usually.
