This does NOT work in windows 7 and you will get the cannot format error. However, if you download the software from here http://vume.senario.com/ choose XP, then install in XP-Mode (right click the file and troubleshoot compatibility it will run in xp sp2 mode and you should then be able to launch the program using windows 7. Hope that helps!
