You need to format the card in your camera using the camera's format feature (look for it in the menus). Note that this will also erase the card, so only do such after saving any pictures that you wish to keep onto your computer's hard drive.

Camera_- Panasonic DMC-TS2: One year old.

Surely there was a leak and could have happened if your dive under water was below the speciifed limit for the Lumix model. The under water pressure must have pressurised the leak to enhance and thereby water must have forced into the system therby damaging the camera. In most cases there is limited chance to get this back to perform as good as it has to perform.
The damage will depend on the amount of water-- salt water- that could have shorted the circuits or damaged the processor and the worst of al the mechanism.
So the ideal way to approach this case is to get an estimate from Panasonic , if you are lucky you could have the camera working with a good overhauling /servicing of the unit.
Remove the battery from the camera and do not power unless the camera is cleaned and checked.

My battery charger stopped charging the battery.

How long do you have the camera?
Rechargeable batteries don't last forever, and when they are too weak to take a charge, the little light just blinks.
They could also be shorted out.

This flasing is a problem code. "The book" should also tell you what these flashes mean, although it usually means: replace the battery.

Lumix DMC-FY2 recently purchased. Screen

Usually such screen flickering occurs when you had applied some pressure on the LCD ( can be due to high shocks on the camera such as dropping it from a height, hitting on the LCD ...etc ) and will eventually damage the screen. But it wont affect the pictures you are taking since the image capture is by the inbuilt image sensor. You can claim for the warranty if it's a manufacturing defect and they will service it free of cost.Your valuable feedback would be appreciated.

Hi There - this may

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

I'm a mac user. And

Here's something that works for me....I make a folder on the desktop and label it "video". Then, I put the card in a card reader and insert it into my Mac. An icon appears on the screed usually called "no name". I double-click to open it and drag and drop the videos into the folder. From there, I can work with them in iMovie or just watch them in Quicktime.
