This tv problems,it the causes of the tv board that call the T-CON board,it is dying.This T-CON board job are to decodes and filters all pixels dots pictures before it goes into the tv LCD screen panel.This T-CON board sit at the bottom in the middle of the tv LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a new refurbish T-CON board for the replacement.

Change the bad caps in the power supply with slightly higher voltage rating. You should see a couple caps that are puffed at the top.

The power supply board have fail badly,all that high pitch screeching sound,it came from those high voltages gaps from those tranformers,that giving ur tv high voltages.The power supply board,that the board,where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Hahaha, this is MOST CERTAINLY not reasonable.

There are companies who specialize in fixing power supplies and the basic rate of the one I last used was $150.

But frankly, even $150-$180 is too much for that.

Feel free to send me your broken power board and I'll have it fixed for under $200 even if I have to replace most active components on it without even knowing which one is to blame :-)

What's more serious, though, and this is for everyone reading this reply, is this: some repair shopes APPARENTLY have no clue what are they talking about. While in this case they might be right - the problem may indeed be in the power board, just yesterday I had a customer in a very similar situation to yours and he was quoted $650 for a problem that was MOST CERTAINLY not the power board, but a sustain board in a plasma television.

So beware people of self-pronounced or flat out fraud TV repair shops!

OK help is here! lol Your power supply needs repair, the clicking your hearing is the back light curcuit trying to start up..should be not expenive to fix.

Find the CC button on the remote,turn that off.Captioning should go away.

The problem is the LCD panel went bad, it can't be repaired, you have to replace it.
