Check the lid switch. It is common for them to go bad. Check to see if it clicks when pushed down. the switch can cause the washer not to spin or drain.

It sounds like your clutch is wearing out.

Swap the wiring to the valves, that will tell you if it's the valve or control board. You should/could also measure the voltage across the valve when it's supposed to be operating. If it's line voltage the valve is faulty, if not it's likely the control board. If the one you put in is new and tests ok then it's the control board feeding the valve, probably a thyristor or similar switching device faulty. If you aren't qualified BE CAREFUL THERE ARE HIGH VOLTAGES IN THAT AREA

Yes patrick you can try removing the cold hose from the washer, look inside the valve for a metal screen. If it has sediment blocking it remove screen, clean it and reinstall. If still no water replace inlet valve.

try to manual move to the wash option if it washes then stops after was it maybe the logic board ( brains unit ) not going to the next option. if it is a mechanical dial that rotates it will need replacing.

Sounds like the bearing in the drum has bust but shouldnt be too expensive to replace.

Remove pump and look for sock or frozen pump

check the belt that spins the tub, you will find it at the bottom of the machine, check if its intact.
