Ti 85 log base
If it does not have it, use the equivalent formals
Log_base b(a)= ln(a)/ln(b) or log_10(a)/Log_10(b).

My TI-85 screen looks like it shifted upwards. As a result, I can't see the bottom part of the screen. How can this be fixed?
In response to your questions.
Have you thought about contacting Texas Instruments Directly?
Put in new (fresh batteries), and increase the contrast to the darkest, then reduce it. Do this a few times: It may bring the pixels back to life.
If that does not work, consider setting aside this calculator and buying a new one. It suffers from old age, and it is not worth it to try to repair it. Try to get a used one: If you risk nothing you get nothing. Besides that 200 $ figure is erroneous. You can get some good Casios (with a Computer Algebra System) for about 150$. Or a TI84 Plus Silver Edition C (in color) for the same price. OR a N'spire CAS, or an HP 50 G. Need I list others?

I want to do a chi-square test on the TI-85
The chi-square test is used for a lot more than just contingency tables.I found
one program for the TI-86 (which is basically the same machine as the TI-85, only with more memory) which claims to do the chi-square goodness of fit test. You might also want to browse through
this archive.

How do i use eulars rule with the ti-85
Many things are named after Leonhard Euler and that includes the base of natural logarithms (e=2.7.....)To use the constant itself you must use e^(1) or enter exponential of 1. A few calculators have a specific key to enter the constant e as for Pi, but most do not and that is why you must use e(1).
