How do i find grouped data in L1 and L2 on ti 82
I am not sure I understand but if it the same problem as in your other posted question, here is what I wrote. Are the data in
L1 and l2 in any way related? If they are (being x-values and y-values
of some data set) then you need to do regression analysis (2-var stats)If they are not related (connected) you can calculate the mean of each group separately. Do
1-var stat by specifying the L1 list first (may be the default), get
your average of the values in L1. Then you can do 1-var stat on the data
in L2 by specifying the list L2 on the command line.1-var L2 ENTERNote: What I am describing here is valid for the TI 83 Plus/TI84 Plus, but I suspect the steps are similar to the TI 82.

After a few months on not using my calculator, I
TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible.
