TI-35 Plus

Make sure the battery contacts are clean. I just fixed mine, as it had been sitting for some years and the batteries went bad.

I gently cleaned any "green mold" from the contacts with a light Scotch-Brite pad and some electrical contact spray that I got at a local hardware store.

I tested the batteries with my digital meter to make sure they were 1.5V or more and put everything back together. Works great!

Give it a whirl---this is a nice little calculator. I bought mine in 1990-1991 and it's gotten me through undergraduate and graduate school...

Mean, median, mode

Mean= average =(sum of data values)/(number of data values) Mode is the most frequent data value. Median: Sort the data in ascending order. The element in the middle is the median. If the number of data is odd, there will be one MIDDLE element. It is the median. If the number of data is even, there will be two elements in the middle. Add the values of these middle elements and divide by 2. The result will be the median. It is not part of the data.

How do i put powers on my calculator? Like 10 to the twenty third power...

Look for a key that may be marked as X to power y, or Y to power x or just a caret [^]. However to enter a power of 10 such as in the Avogadro Number 6.02*10^23, scientific calculators have a specific key marked EE (enter exponent?) on TI's or x10^x on Casios. When you use the EE key no 10 should appear: meaning to enter 6.02*10^23 you type in 6.02 followed by [EE] then 23. Press = to display the number. Th e EE key is a shortcut for *10^

Some calculator has mode key, is TI-34II have that one? Please do answer my question i need it badly. thank you :)

If it had one you would have seen the word MODE on a key. No it does not have a mode button. That does not mean you cannot configure it to serve your calculation needs. You need to read the manual to look for the specific functionality you need, and the relevant key to access it.

How do i fine the log of 3 of 9

If you mean the log base 3 of 9, then divide the log of 9 by the log of 3. You can use either the common log ("log") or the natural log ('ln") as long as you use the same one for each.If you mean the log base 9 of 3, then divide the log of 3 by the log of 9.This procedure works regardless of the model of the calculator, as long as it's capable of calculating logs.

Chaning the decimal place???

If you are changing the decimal place on a calculator you must multiply by a factor of then.
For example. If you have 500 and want 5000. You must multiply by 10 to get the calculator to show you 5000. You can add more 0's after the 1 to have a higher value

On the other hand, if you have 500 but you want 50. You need to multiple by .1 .You can add more 0's before the decimal point to get a smaller value.

Hi i have a TI-34-II

One can express percentages as fractions. Say you have 60% and you want to change this into a fraction. you can also express this as 60/100 because all percentages are are parts of 100. So to change a fraction into a percent you would just convert the fraction into a decimal by dividing (3/4 = .75). Then to get the percentage you just multiply the decimal by 100 to get the percent. (75x100=75%
