TI-83 Plus 1 and 0 keys will not work

make sure that there is nothing sticky in your calculator. It's likely that you got something sticky in there and now the pin that you would push down when you push the key is permently down. So if you can kinda try to make it not stick then your set. If it's a teqnical problem then it's time to buy a new calculator. I just went and bought a ti 84 silver and it's great. Best of luck

What is a relative frequency table

It is a frequency table where the entries are the relative frequencies relative frequency= (frequency/sum of all frequencies). The frequency can be expressed as a decimal number or a percentage. In that last case, the total of all frequencies will be approximately 100% (due to rounding errors).

I suddenly got a message....Please install calculator software now. How do I do that?

Connect it to a computer with TI Connect installed. Run TI connect and open the Updates TAB. Update OS. Of course you must be connected to the Internet. Or use an IO cable to connect it to a similar calculator and send the OS from the 2nd machine to yours. Read about the procedure in the Manual.

/ The diagram shows corresponding lengths in two similar figures. Find the area of the smaller figure. A. 16 cm2 B. 18 cm2 C. 20 cm2 D. 36 cm2

Your question is not clear at all. What are all those area measures in cm^2? Take two segments that correspond to one another and for which you have the lengths. This will allow you to find the scale factor k. k= (length of a segment in smaller figure)/(length of the corresponding segment in larger figure). Then Area of smaller figure =k^2(area of larger figure) In the formula above insert the area of the larger figure as given to you or as calculated by you using the shape and dimensions of the figure.

Where is factorial button on ti-83 plus

Hi,
Not every function on the TI83Plus calculator has a dedicated key, or is accessible through a key sequence. Among the keyless function is the factorial function.

To access the factorial function
  1. Through the catalog of commands: press [2nd][0] (CATALOG) and scroll Up till you reach the exclamation mark !
  2. Press [MATH]. Use right arrow to highlight PRB menu. The factorial function is the 4th in the list.
Syntax

Type the number and use one of the foregoing access methods to echo the exclamation mark on the home screen and press ENTER.
Ex: 12! =479001600

The largest number that you can use with the factorial is 69.

Hope it helps.
