0.056-0.1 answer in decimal form
If the calculator give you an answer in fractional or symbolic form, you can convert it to numerical form by pressing diamond then ENTER.
To have all answers come out in numerical form, press MODE F2 then down-arrow to the "Exact/Approx" line, right-arrow, select either AUTO or APPROXIMATE, then press ENTER twice.

When i put in integrals
You are not using the right units. The integrals of functions involving angles (trigonometric functions) that you find in tables and other refrerences are valid only for the natural angle unit which is the radian. With any other angle unit (degree, gradian) there is a scale factor to take into account. That is the factor yoy are complaining about.
If it were not the case, the same integral will have two different values depending on the unit you use: and that cannot be.
If you want the calculator to give you the standard integrals in reference tables you must set the default angle unit to be radian.
Let x_deg be an angle in degrees and x_rad the corresponding value in radians.
180 deg=Pi rad
x_deg/180=x_rad/Pi
x_deg =(180 deg/PI)*x_rad
calculating the differentials of bot sides you obtain
dx_deg= (180/Pi) dx_rad
Similarly, with grads
dx_gr=(200/Pi)*dx_rad

4x+3y=6 how do you solve for y
Hello,
I am not lecturing you but I would rather you understand how to do the manipulations involved in isolating a variable.
You want to isolate y, Ok
Start stripping it of all that is not y.
3y + 4x =6. (Addition is commutative, I can change the order of addition)
The term with y is added to 4x. If I want the term in y alone on one side I perform the inverse operation of addition, a substraction. I subtract 4x from both sides.
3y+4x-4x=6-4x. But 4x-4x=0, and we are left with
3y= - 4x+6
This operation is sometimes summarized as make one term change side while changing its sign
It would do no harm to put the right side of the foregoing equation in parentheses. I do that to avoid errors)
3y= (-4x+6).
Now y is multiplied by the number 3. To isolate y I have to perform the inverse operation of the multiplication, namely the division by 3
3y/3 =(-4x+6)/3. The left hand side is just y
y= (-4x+6)/3.
While result is correct, I can also open the parentheses
y= -4x/3 +6/3
y= -(4/3)*x +2.
Hope it helps.

My graphing function doesn't work
The angle unit is not conform to your problem.
If angle unit in your problem is degrees, change angle unit to degrees on calculator.
Then change the Xmin, Xmax values to about -180 and 180

The TI Silver Link Usb cable is listed on the TI Online store at 20 dollars. If the calculator has a mini USB port one can use a mini USB to standard USB cable. They are found at various prices.

The fact that the icons show on first screen is not a bug. It is a configuration setting. Just in case some keys answer to a keypress.Press the diamond key and the HOME key to get to the HOME screen. In Home screen press the MODE key. Use the Function keys (F1,F2,F3) to move to the last page of the configuration where you find the option Apps Desktop and toggle it to OFF. Press ENTER to save.If that does not work (because the arrow keys) do not answer, try to RESET the calculator: Press [2nd][MEM] to open memory management then press F1 key to RESET. Try ressetting all RAM.If more keys refuse to respond then maybe you should contact TI-cares at education.ti.com

I am dividing a 3*1
You'll get the same error if you try to divide two matrices with real numbers. The TI-89 doesn't allow you to divide a matrix by another. However, you can multiply a matrix by the reciprocal of the other.
For example, to calculate A/B, calculate instead A*B^-1 . Makes sure you use the (-) key just to the right of the decimal point key to put in the negative sign before the "1".

Enter the formula as an equality. Then, with the cursor on the formula, press 2ND [F6] to select Style. Choose "Above" or "Below" depending on which side of the graph you want shaded. Then press diamond [GRAPH] as usual to see the graph.

When I enter the square
Instead of hitting enter, hit diamond, then enter. The calculator will then give you a decimal approximation. Alternatively, you can go to F2, approx( and enter in the root you need approximated. Another method is to go to the MODE page and scroll down to Exact/Approx and change it to approx. That way it will work the same as a TI-83/84 and always give a decimal answer.

I have no idea wether you can program the formulas for logic gates, but I can tell you that there are two Electrical Engineering applications EE200 and EE'Pro at
education.ti.com . From the summaru descriptions I understand that they can hanfle circuit analysis, however I cannot say naything about gates. Maybe you should invest in learning how to program the calculator. That challenge, I leave to you.

Every time i try to
Do you have a function somewhere (not necessarily y1) that is attempting to graph. You can check this by going into the Var-Link menu (2nd MINUS) and searching for a function variable. If that doesn't work check the function you're trying to graph and see if it has a variable in it that is supposed to be a multiplication (xy instead of x*y) or if somehow the variable you meant to use got deleted

There is always a blue
I think the blue line is generally unfix-able without replacing the screen, which costs as much as a new calculator. The freezing may be fixable, try taking out the triple A batteries and leaving the calculator to sit with them out for a minute or so, replace them and check if it's fixed. If that doesn't work you can do the same but take out the small button back up battery as well. If you're still not having luck you should call ti cares (800-842-2737) they're usually helpful.
