if belt ok check under agitator for bad cogs

check drain, screen, and hose for clog and buildup

check for any blockages around pump and air trap area.

There are four suspension rods that the tub hangs on. When the washer is agitating the tub will rock back and forth and the rods will move back and froth as well. To fix this noise, lift up in each rod and put some lubricant in the cup that the rods fit into at the top of the washer.

Note that it is best if you use a lithium-based lubricant rather than silicone based lubricant.

Make sure you magnet is properly in place its very touchy

When the machine is full, the built in sensor triggers a switch to let the machine know there are clothes inside. Check the sensors and/or switch, as they may be faulty.

I have a GE WBSR3000GWS Model and it stopped spinning at one point as well. My service guy came out and did the procedure below and reset it with in minutes.

How to Reset your GE Washer :
1. Turn the dial like your going to wash a load but do not pull the knob.

2. Unplug the washer from the wall and wait for 30 seconds.

3. Plug the washer back into the wall.

4. Lift the lid 5 times to at least 6 inches high. Open/Close within 15 secs.

5. Pause… You should here a click. If you do not, then repeat 1 – 5 again.

6. Insert a towel or garment into the washer and then pull knob to start the wash cycle.

7. Check the wash cycle to make sure the washer is agiating and spinning during its cycle.

Most US-sold washers made after the mid 1980s don't have lint filters. The manufacturers weasel-word around it by saying that the lint "goes down the drain", leading people to optimistically assume that there is a self-cleaning filter in there somewhere. There usually isn't and whatever lint doesn't go down the drain is filtered by your cloths (but whatever does might clog your septic system). As a result of this scam, it's much harder to hang-dry or iron-dry clothes that haven't been hand washed. And, if you think spending $2000 on a pair of matched "front-load" style machines will solve this, you might be wrong; many of those washers still have no lint filter.

The belt could be worn and will be slipping on the pullys, as it spins up the rubber , rubs against the pullys and that is what creats the burning rubber smell, the belt needs replacing.

Hi, I don't know the model, but it's possibly moving the water fill nozzle over the Fabric Softener compartment in the soap drawer. Clicking is normal for that.

Sounds like there's a hole or loose ejection water hose.
Move the washer so it will run and you can look in the back to see where the water is coming from....fix the leaky problem once you find it. Could be a bad hose clamp as well

Check to see if the tub is free to move in at least one direction or the drain pump for blockage from a small item of clothing. It's best to wash small items in a laundry net bag when mixing with large items to prevent one from getting pushed over the top of the inner tub and either blocking the pump or jamming the tub. It sounds like your water system might need some filter housings installed?-- are there any filter housings in any of your water systems?-- If so, what are they accumulating-- what do you find, when you change filters. Write back what you are finding.. If you have no filters, then let's install either ONE on your common cold water supply to the house-- or start with two at your washing machine. Take tub out, liner is cracked above motor do to off center load. Install new liner but cut fin off above motor before installing to stop this problem.
