Hi, relate to the colour toner density of the colour units. If it is dirty inside the machine or the grey reference plate is dirty it can cause this code. Also if there is any patches on the mag rollers which is not covered in toner as it should be that can cause the problem. Check the code 08-824 to check for the unit causing the problem. 08-824 ,sub code 0 (yellow), 1 (magenta), 2 (cyan). They should be at 0, if there is a 1 in there then there is a problem with that unit.

Try to take color cartridges off and check out if they are dirty. Then put them back. Sometimes that's enough..

Error

Have you checked the manual under Troubleshooting? The only thought I have is this one; Is the equipment in the energy saving mode (Automatic energy saving mode)? Press the [ENERGY SAVER] or [START] button on the control panel to clear the mode. (It takes a while for the equipment to become ready.) P.43 "3.Energy Saving Mode

By the sounds of it the laser slit glass needs cleaned. . These machines run quite dirty so dust and toner tend to fall on the the laser unit. Either that or a dwv unit is depleted of developer material. If ur not familiar in taking the copier apart I wouldn't try it lol.

You can replace drum and blade but first you must have service manual with you.I'ts easy to change the drum and they are for 120.000 copies.So find a service manual or e-mail me to show how.

U need to make sure the printer kit is installed, otherwise printing will not work. The printer kit is like a usb dongle, plugged on the usb port along with network port

I don't think that's a valid code. Perhaps CD010? In which case there's a problem with the cleaning brushes.

Depends what you mean by 'not clear copies'? Is this in copying or printing? If not clear whenh copying, try cleaning the glass. If it is not clear colour copies,because the colors are not superimposed accurately it may be you need to align the color system (see Printer Services) If it black text, it may be the same reason, or a new cartridge or ink supply is needed. Ot it may need a good clean up on the roller or drums, or maybe just old age.

Basically u can scan to e-filing where u use file downloader software to retrieve the file. Or scan to file(file_share) where u use smb to retrieve the file.

If changed new toner still showing replace toner cartridge, then probably the toner not able to go inside developer or the developer material is worn out.

It can be worked with a desktop pc having windows 7 straightly configured to 281c and if the device is shared. Then u can access the desktop pc and browse 281c and send prints. Better to start with as a simple peer to peer connection use TCP/IP and observe that it can be accessed via Internet browser, If the copier utility page appear alright that means ur connected.
