I've got a KonicaMinolta 1690MF

1. Make sure that the imaging cartridge is installed properly.
2. Make sure a new imaging cartridge is replaced. A used imaging cartridge will not reset the printer in most cases.
3. Reset the printer by doing the following: (This one will reset the counters)
- From the main menu, select UTILITY
- Then select MACHINE SETTING
- Then select AUTO PANEL RESET
- Then select 30 secs.
- Turn OFF the printer after a minute.
- Turn ON the printer after 15 minutes.

Change ymck toner
The toner cartridge has a chip that calculates the estimated usage of the toner and once it reaches it's capacity (per estimation), it will not print. The only thing you can do is to buy a new cartridge or buy refill toner that comes with a reset chip.

Hi,
Is this happening when you are trying to receive a fax? Or just plain printing? This is happening because your paper printing setting is incorrect. (receiving fax requires that you set the paper size to A4, LEGAL, LETTER or OFICIO)
To avoid this problem to occur go to UTILITY then MACHINE SETTING and choose AUTO CONTINUE. Make sure that this feature is turned ON. If ON is selected, printing will continue even if a paper size error occurs. If OFF is selected, printing stops and print the same document again after continuing.
