Samsung doesn't offer official downloads assuming that your camera will plug&play on the computer automattically. However, try to download the whole pack of Samsung driver downloads from here: http://rapidshare.com/files/226025988/SamsungMaster1114_17062008.zip

How can I open the case of my Samsung SL30 camera?

I wouldn't try to open the camera lens to that extent to clean it out, you will have to disassemble dozens of tiny parts, springs, leaf shutters, tiny screws, gears, motor.....etc. It is rare that you get dirt inside the lens, maybe it is something else outside the lens?

Computer does not recognize USB from samsung ES70

Try not connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

[email protected] I put new batteries

Base from the description of your problem , it seems that something on the battery compartment is grounded that it easily drains the battery life even with a new one.

In order to correct this use the camera needs to be check and have the connections on the battery compartment be corrected to avoid that ground in there , it will be better if you can take it to service center near your area.
