Panasonic SD-YD250 Bread Maker Questions & Answers
Re Panasonic SD-YD 200 Breakmaker
Could be you are not waiting long enough, sometimes it can take several minutes, especially in a rest period. If you have the manual, it usually tells you what each stage of the breadmaking process is and how long the function takes.

Where would I find the serial number?
It's usually on a label on the side or bottom of the device.
You should see the Maker's name, the part number (PN or P/N) and then the serial number (SN or S/N or just Serial)

Panasonic SD-YD250 Bread Maker uneven bread
Usually this happens when the mixture is too dry. Flour contains varying amounts of moisture, thus water needed also changes. Follow User Manual to help solve the problem or add additional water one tablespoon at a time. The dough should be a little more tacky than conventional bread dough. This will allow the dough to flow out more evenly and be less dense. This is a very important step that many persons miss.

Start/stop button wont work SD250 model
I wish there was an easy answer for your problem but there isn't since bread machines are now relatively inexpensive small appliances. It's easy to find one for about $50.00 or less. Given that fact does it make sense to repair it? Probably not. Rather than try to repair the circuitry you could try replacing the whole control panel. You may be able to find one on ebay but again, by the time you pay for the replacement and the shipping you will be pushing close to $30.00 so is it worth it? No, you would be better off just replacing your machine with a new one or almost new off of ebay. You should be able to find a really nice one, tested, proven etc. for 30 or 40 dollars
including shipping. That may not be what you wanted to hear but it is the truth my friend. I have some used machines for sale also if you want to go that route. email is:
