How do I cancel the delay start? Everytime I turn...

Hi Guest and welcome to Fixya, I don't think what you're describing is the delay start, but rather a problem with one of the heating component's and most likely the heater relay on the electronic control. Likely if you let the unit operate from that point of displaying "2H" it will run and run for several hours and not heat the water. You can confirm this by pulling out the control and visually inspecting the printed circuit side of the control. Look for a burnt solder on the opposite side of the largest relay ( black or orange retangular box ). That will confirm the heater relay is faulty and the control either needs to be replaced or repaired if you are capable of resoldering the board. Let me know what you find and I'll try and assist you further if you require any. Thanks for visiting "fixya" today and good luck moving forward. Macmarkus :)

Replace cover on Bosch Dish washer> Now a C6

I had the same problem after replacing the white panel on my Bosch SHE45M02UC with a stainless panel. I got the C6 error code. I called Bosch customer service twice and neither rep was helpful. One guy told me he didn't know what the C6 code meant. He suggested that I call a local appliance repair guy and he would know what the code meant. I replied, you mean to tell me you work for the manufacturer of the dishwasher and don't know what the error code stands for but a local repair guy that doesn't work for Bosch does?After all this frustration, I took the panels off and tested the dishwasher with no buttons. It worked fine! Turns out, each identical button isn't identical. Each one is labeled A-G. After putting it back together, no more C6 code! On a side note, try reseting the dishwasher. With the dishwasher on and door closed, hold down the cancel/reset buttons for 5 seconds and release. The disher should drain and reset.

Bosch dishwasher

I had this same problem and in addition as it ran water dripped out the bottom while the dishwasher was running just before the tap light came out. Check the outlet hose is not blocked. Ours was blocked at the T junction where it met the sink outlet. Once the blockage was cleared we hit another problem - the pump kept trying to drain - even when the door was open. Found an excellent solution to that on this site. It had occured as the previous problem had casued the flood switch to be triggered. We had to tile the sihwasher back 45 degrees to fix it. Now its workig fine again.

I have a Bosch Exxcel Dishwasher, stuck at 1 minute to go

Make sure the drain pump is clear of any blockages and obstructions and that the drain hose wasn't kinked when you re-installed it.

Residual water remains on bottom of dishwasher.

You need to replace the drain pump on the dishwasher, the motor most likely has something caught inside and will only open/close so far.

What does E 15 mean on an under the counter Bosch dishwasher?

Had the same problem. there is water in the base of the machine, and all that is happening now is the pump to drain the machine is working. If you can manage this next bit physically, the quick temporary solution is to turn the machine off at the mains, empty the machine of contents, and in my case, I had to pull the machine out, and drain the machine by tipping it about 45 degrees by lifting the front of the machine. The water will drain out the back of the machine ( I managed to place some cardboard underneath the machine to soak it up) and once drained of the small amount of water, let the machine go level again. when I turned the machine back on, it functioned normally again for a while. eventually had to call in a repairman, as it continued to malfunction every couple of weeks. In my case his initial diagnosis of a split container was wrong, and after he took the left hand side of the dishwashing machine off, he has found that the hard water has clogged a component which needs replacing. i got the quick fix method on YouTube, either by typing the E15 Bosch dishwasher fault on google, or going directly to you tube. Good luck!

Have a shu 4322 dishwasher it fills with water and

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

There was indeed a recall involving the control replacement nearly two years ago now if I recall.

As for checking into the present issue ( it doesn`t sound like anything to do with the control based on your description ) it sounds like the pump impeller may have become stuck. Did the dishwasher sit idle or in storage unused for a period of time ?

I have a service bulletin I could send you via email regarding remedying that issue of stuck impeller if you contact me at [email protected]

I`d suggest you run the dishwasher through a diagnostic, but either procedure will require hooking it up.

To do this test/diagnostic on the SHU4322 series machine, it is as follows...

To start test program, press and hold both REGULAR WASH and RINSE & HOLD program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. Initially, control module version # will be displayed (e.g./ "20" = version 0 without jumper).

When wash program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button.
To check each program indicator light, press its button. To check Cycle Countdown display, Refill Rinse Agent light and REGULAR WASH light, press REGULAR WASH button (press Delay Start button to test Cycle Countdown display alone).

Cycle Countdown display will show "88" when REGULAR WASH button is pressed and "8h" when Delay Start button is pressed.
To start testing, press both the REGULAR WASH and RINSE & HOLD buttons a second time.

When testing has ended, Cycle Countdown display will show a fault using codes below. If more than one fault occurs, code numbers will be added together, (e.g./ "6" = faults 2 + 4).
0 = No faults detected 2 = Heating fault 8 = NTC (temperature sensor) fault 1 = Aqua Sensor ("Sensotronic") fault 4 = Filling fault F = Filling fault (display occurs during wash, not test)

0 = No faults detected
1 = Aqua Sensor ("Sensotronic") fault
2 = Heating fault
4 = Filling fault
8 = NTC (temperature sensor) fault
F = Filling fault (display occurs during wash, not test)

To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.

i.e.

86c0a8d.jpg

If water level switch has failed (opened), display will show fault code "4" and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won't be completed. If flow switch has failed (opened), display will show "0", water won't heat (to 150?F) and water won't stop circulating. If NTC probe has failed (opened), display will show fault code "8" immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.

What needs to be done to solve the problem will depend on the results/findings of the dianostic, so let me know what you find and we can go from there.

Either way keep me in the loop and I`ll assist you the best I can. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Won't change cycles

locate the tech sheet for your machine. It can be taped to the back of a panel or on top of the machine or usually behind the lower panel. The tech sheet will tell you how to enter the service program and check for error codes. It sounds like the control board is failing. You can check at Appliance Parts Pros or Repair clinic for parts for your unit. Hope this helps.

Bosch shu43 not draining- hums but doesn't drain.

Something might be stuck in the blades, and even though the impeller is working, the blades cant. That means there might be a blockage. Thats usually the reason why something wont drain. I'm not an expert, its just me trying to be helpful, I do "little fixes" around the house and have taken apart a sink before to clean out the drain. [find a butter knife once] You might have to take the disposal out to go over it.

Dishwasher stopped working

Some Bosch models have a switch that stops the dishwasher from running when there is a leak. The water collects in the bottom of the machine. Give it a check.
