Bosch Logixx WFT 2806 Front Load Washer/Dryer - Page 6 Questions & Answers
I take delivery of a Bosch washing machine on11th
You can use virtually any brand of detergent, so long as it is recommended for front loading washers.
This is important ,as using the wrong type will cause problems with oversudsing..
You can also use tablets instead of powder.
Hope this answers your query.
I have a bosch WFR 2460 washer. Er:15 error code.
You need to check and clean pump filter, normally located behind a removeable plastic cover at bottom front of washer right hand side.
If no filter found there remove rear panel of washer, and clean pump from rear of washer.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
Not heating up
some times the heating coil breaks or the thermal resistor goes bad
I have f18 message and need bit of help with the solution
We had the same problem with opening the pump cover;
The solution was taking more of the washing machine apart because there was something blocking it from the inside and preventing it from opening.
Trying to force it may cause more damage so unplug everything and tip it backwards - no need to lie it flat, do it just enough so it is stable and doesn't fall over.
Take off the front bottom panel on the machine.
Undo the screw holding the filter housing to the front of the machine and lower it inside the machine, next unscrew the hoses and disconnect the wiring from it. This will allow you to pull the filter out completely and to open it up.
Clean the pump, check that there's nothing in the pipes/hoses and then put it all back together again in reverse order to which you took it apart in. (i.e. put together the last part you took apart and work backwards).
Hi,
Hello,
First of all, if you have checked the element with a meter an it indicates it's "open" then yes it is faulty.
Second, it can be a challenge to change the element and you might want to consider an expert.
**unplug the unit from the power source**
Note where the wires are attached to the heater and remove them. Now you'll see there is a single nut in the center, likely about a 5/16 or 3/8, or similar in metric. Once that nut is off, the heater should pull straight back and out. It may need some firm pulling. The tricky part is lining it up properly when re-installing it as to get in the bracket which keeps it from contacting the basket.
You can do a trial run if you're not sure, If once you start you think it isn't going well, phone a certified tech.
Hope that helps.
good Luck :)
No heat during drying cycle
your heating element or the thermostats that control the heating element could be bad. research no heat for your make of dryer, it should show how to ohm the thermostats and element for fault. They should all read 000 when ohmed. 000 being a complete circuit. I have been having thermal fuse problems with my whirlpool dryer, so I'm learning as I go.
Time work problem
If it is relatively new, then my advice to you, is to contact the service agents, and get it looked at under guarantee.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
Replacing washing machine brushes in motor how do
Hi
Remove rear panel of washer, and undo 2 screws that secure the motor, lever motor back with a screwdriver or similar, and unplug motor lead.
Be sure to keep hold of the motor so it does not drop on the floor.
You will see the brushes at the terminal end of motor, remove and replace.
Thanks for contacting fixya.com
How do I get the key symbol off - on my condenser
This is the child lock. It prevents the buttons working.
Press and hold the 'MENU' button for until the symbol dissapears (about 5-6 seconds)
You can activate it the same way once the cycle is going thus preventing accidental changes to the programme.
Annoying until you know how but useful when you do.

My boiler is coming away from the wall
Take something, like a broom handle, something, that you can prop up against it to stop it from falling away more.
Find a water shutoff that is not near the unit so if it where to fall
away fully, and the pipe broke, it will not flood the place.
As long as the gas and water to the unit is turned off, it should be ok.
You could also tie it up with rope,if this is feasible.
This should not have happened.
I can't locate brushes on Bosch Logixx 1600 wasshing machine
hi
usally the brushes are at the back of the motor but depending on motor they could be inside . to get to these you need to remove the 4 screws wich hold motor together. but 1st thing to check is to look at armitor on motor and see if you can see a line going round in the middle. if there is the motor will probley need to be replaced as the motor will have burnt out. but motors are very expensive o these machines. hope this helps
