I watch a documentary recently called planned obsolescence and a russian hacker reported finding a chip in his printer that would count the number of print and then lock up once a certain number was reached. This printer was by no means cheap and I was expecting high quality product (something that would last) I think that this printer adopts these malware techniques. The joys of capitalism means companys have zero incentive to offer you products that last. So sick of scumbag corporations Not to mention how many time I have had to align the printer heads (nearly every time I turn it on)
