Factory parts warranty is five years all parts one year labor. Capacitor and/or fan motor has gone out and will need replaced. The breaker will throw itself off if the condition gets bad enough. Suggest not using until repaired, turn off breaker.

ihe 5 minute delay is to prevent damage to your compressor. some safety is shutting it down.

try a new capacitor

stopped up drain or rusted out pan. should have auxiallry pan under a/c air-handler.

drain pan stopped up or rusted through. if you are talking freon leak has to be repired by a pro.

either you have refrigerant leak or compressor bad.

on the side of compressor is a plastic snap on cover. behind cover are 3 terminals labeled r for run c for common and s for start. make sure a wire has not burned off. remember power has to be off and capacitors store a charge that can hurt you.

possible but i would check line set first.

The compressor has three terminals, Common, Start and Run.... The terminals read left to right, top to bottom just like pages in a book. So if theres one on top, its Common then Start will be the first one in the next row. If theres two on top, it'll be Common on the left and Start on the right then Run on the bottom. The run capacitor wires in between Start and Run and line voltage is applied to Common and Run.
