How do I shorten ******** my Tag Heuer Formula 1 watch?
Take a look at the watch from the side where the band attaches to the buckle. You should see four holes with one of them having a visible pin in it where the band is connected to the buckle. Moving the band to the right will shorten it moving it to the left will make it bigger. To move it simply get something that you can push the pin in with like a paper clip. Push the pin in and the band should come out move it to the left and push the in again and simply move the band into proper position. Once you do that the pin will snap back into place. If that does not adjust it enough go to your local watch store and they can remove links from the bracelet for you. Shouldn't cost you more than $10.

The scond hand on my
Sean,
This watch has a disposable movement(guts). That means the battery is the only part that can be replaced. The thing is glued together instead of screwed.
Take it to a watchmaker that can get the replacement movement from Tag as the ordinary movements out there are different from the genuine Tag movements. Date wheels specifically are different.
Anyway, a professional watchmaker, not a jeweler or store clerk please, will be able to tell you if that is the correct course of events to take. Probably looking at 200 to 250

How do i remove crown?
Hi, on the back of the movement there should either be a screw or a dimple in line or next to the line of the stem. If a dimple, press in with a pin or similar sturdy tool and gently withdraw the stem. If a screw, only one turn should be enough to release the stem

MINUTE HAND TICKING EVERY 4
If its a quatz movement - could it be that your battery needs replacing? This is a feature of my Tag 6000 so I assume yours is the same.

MY TAG FORMULA 1 WATCH
mcdevito75 here, It sounds like the (larger) minute hand is leaning against the (smaller) hour hand, stopping the time telling past 11:20 while the seconds hand keeps going. You"ll have to see a Watch repair person and have them look at your watch. Best Bet, look for a small watch repair shop in your area.

Watch not running
The watch should start when the winder is returned home position.
If pressing the winder does not cause the watch to start it could be that the winder may need to be screwed in (some watches include this as an additional feature to improve water resistance). Turn the winder to the right.
The wacth should now start. if it still does not start, I suggest you find your nearest dealer in your area and speak to them about it.

Cannot pull the knob out, to change the date and
Some watches need to have the crown unscrewed.
Try turning it anticlockwise then pull out.
If this doesn't solve your problem, go to the TAG site "tagheuer.com" and find your nearest dealer.
