Sounds like you are not getting fire to that cylinder,check plug wire,plug,and the cap on the end of the plug wire.

If all is well with those,just let me know and we can go to the next possible cause.

Charge battery to full, start in neutral, still clicks? Bad ground, or bad connection. Jump starter solenoid with screwdriver,etc. if motor turns over the relay is bad. Chaz Moto DC

If you are not getting spark then it would be the CDI box, Coils, Pickup trigger in Engine.

Hi Don does the bike jump forward as of the clutch wasn't working? If so the clutch is stuck. To fix put thd bike in high gear and hold in the clutch push the bike back and forward with the help of a friend until it frees up. If this is not the problem check the side stand switch it might be faulty. If you have a doubt about the switch join the two wires together temporary to test. Regards Jim...

I have a. Vstar 1100 it's an 04 and has the pressure plate and to tighten the 6 bolts to the preferred pressure has the bolts completely touching the clutch pack outer most plate and doesn't leave enough room to even release the plates when you squeeze the clutch whats not right here??? 8steel disc's and 8 felt disc's and goes as followed metal fiber metal fiber metal fiber metal fiber metal fiber metal fiber metal fiber metal fiber. The headlight fuse is located on the left side under the access panel below the seat. there are 4 fuses on the panel with one 15A fuse being for the headlight.

Loose ground wires can cause all kinds of problems, and since ground wires are located in multiple locations specific to each model, each wire must be checked to assure connection. If you have a starter problem, check the positive connection to the starter as well. Remove seat and side covers and look closely at the frame to find black and/or black with another color attached to the frame. Remove, clean and reinstall each connection. Paint, rust and other corrosion can degrade connections. Also check your wires for corrosion, especially the battery wires.
