Knocking type sound starts when a vehicle is run in high gear at low speeds for a long time or when you do not warm up the cold engine before taking off and make it a habit. The engine has to retaliate in some way.The crankshaft side of the piston rod needs doing up as it gets loose/warn out. A visit to the workshop is called for.

Knocking noise on kx 85

The rod should move side to side this is called little end side shake. the correct amount is .8mm to 1.3mm make sure the rod does not have any movement up and down on the bearing. If this is all good your knock may be from a worn piston. If its more of a grinding sound it could be the crank bearings.
