I have a 2010 49cc Tao Tao moped. I have only had it for six months. I bought carburator and jet cleaner for it called "Sea Foam" for small engines. I put the amount the bottle told me to add to the gas. The day after I put the cleaner in it I was driving down the road it just died. I checked the spark plug and it is getting fire but the moped itself won't fire? Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I have a valsi 5500 generator, I would like to rebuild the carb I need to find out what parts I need. and lately it just started putting out 95 watts, need to figure on what it is causing it.

You may only need to give it a good cleaning. Get some "Sea Foam" carbureator cleaner Homepage Sea Foam Sales Company Simply take the carb off and clean it thoroughly with the Sea Foam product and you probably won't need any parts. Also, be sure to add a fuel stabilizer to your fuel supply. "Stabil" is a good product for this.

POOR ACCELERATION, LOW MPG, EXHAUST SPUTTER

check and clean the map sensor /with only map sensor cleaner and be very careful how you handle this part very sensitive also its wireing plugs..and only use map sensor cleaner..no carburator cleaner or brake cleaner..they are way to strong..and they will defect this part..in other words anything other map sensor cleaner..it will eat up the special coating on the sensor ..because they are very micro small area..youll see and pay close attention when your taking it apart ..because it go's back exactly the same reverse process.

Can I use break cleaner to clean carbs

No use regular carb cleaner but if you carbs are really gumed up use a brand called sea foam i found it to be the best for removing deposits of old fuel make sure to pay attention to the pilot jet remove it make sure its clear.

It sluggish til about 6000 rpm then it normal you car rev it but when you try to ride it has a hard time going till you get to 6000rpm

Has it been standing for a while? It sounds like the fuel has caramelised from standing. All fuels today have so much ethanol that they only last a few months. You could try a can of Sea Foam in the tanks then run it then block the intakes on the carbs so it causes a vaccum and cleans out the pilot jets. This is a long shot, but it might work. If not you need to take the carbs apart and clean them. Take all the jets out and replace with new then let the carb bodys soak in carb cleaner. The pilot jet air ways are really small and get blocked easly make sure they are clear before you put the carbs back together. Good luck. If it wasnt standing check the timing is advancing and retarding.

03 YZF stumbles in 1st-2nd gear after sitting for a month. Changed the oil and plugs...any quick fixes for this problem?

I do not know if it is fuel injected or carbuerated but the jets, or injectors could be clogged. I highly reccomend a product called sea foam that you add into your fuel tank. It is a fuel stabilizer and will clean/remove water or other small debris.
