Hello,

The VIN number will be on the upper front end of the bike and it's 17 characters long. Once you have that number, click this link - VIN - and enter your VIN number information. It will give you all the details of your bike.

The engine number would be located directly on the engine. Most are toward the back of the engine, behind the head cylinders, on a flat part of the engine. You will, most likely, have to remove a few side pieces to find this number.

Hope this helps. If you find this information useful, please vote on this post. Thank you.

Regards,

Oz

I have 1986 F350/ 460 engine. Dually small dump truck 3-4 cubic yards. I need to know the rear end gear ratio?? There is no tag on the cover bolts, just the vin number is available.

Should be a tag on the differential under one of the cover bolts that has that info on it. Otherwise you will have to take cover off and the ring gear will have the ration stamped on it on the edge... You could also count the teeth on the ring and pinion, divide the ring gear count by the pinion gear count.

I bought a daily used car but the Engine number seems faded as my mechanic see the complete number and neither on the original papers of the car. Pls how do I go about it?

Get the VIN number from your registration. Contact a dealer for your car model (Honda, Toyota) and ask them. They can tell you what engine it is. No mechanic would need the actual engine serial number.

Are all integers rational numbers

All integers are rational numbers. The easiest way to see that is to write an integer as a fraction with 1 as a denominator; 4=4/1=8/2; 5=5/1.
Any number that can be written as a ratio of two integers numbers is by definition a rational number ( it is a ratio---rational).
Any decimal number with a periodic decimal part can be cast as a fraction, so it is rational.
An irrational number is a number that cannot be written as a fraction.
Examples: PI, sqRT(2), Sqrt(3), SQRT(5), e. There is an infinite number of them.

How many rational numbers are between -7 and 1?

There are an infinite number of rational numbers between any two rational numbers.

Given any two rational numbers, the number midway between them is also rational. By the same logic, the number midway between the smaller of the two original numbers and the midpoint is also rational. And so is the number midway between the first number and the second midpoint. And so is the number midway between the first number and third midpoint... and so on.

Need firing order and, I need to know what side the number one piston is on?

To avoid confusion, remove and tag the spark plug wires one at a time, for replacement.

The 3.5L (VIN H) engine's unique ignition system has the ignition coils directly over each plug. No spark plug wires are used.
If a coil is replaced on any of the 3.1L, 3.4L or 3.8L engines, it may not be numbered, as is the factory coil. For this reason it is imperative that you label all wires before disconnecting any of them. Also, before removal, compare the current wiring with the accompanying illustrations. If the current wiring does not match, make notes in your guide to reflect how your engine is wired.

The firing order for the 3.1L VIN M, 3.4L VIN E, 3.4L VIN X and 3.5L VIN H engines is 1-2-3-4-5-6. The right bank cylinders are on the cowl side (rear) of the engine compartment and are numbered 1,3,5, left bank cylinders on the front side of the vehicle, are numbered 2,4,6.
The firing order for the 3.8L VIN K and 3.8L VIN 1 engines is 1-6-5-4-3-2. Starting at the front of the engine, cylinders in the left bank are numbered 1,3,5 and cylinders in the right bank are numbered 2,4,6
