Question about 1999 kawasaki ER-5
Kawasaki er5 1999 what size are the fork seals as these are supposed to be the same size as 1985 zg1300 a1 according to the part number(z1300 fork seals discontinued) @

First, go buy amanual ,clymer or haynes shop manual from a dealer or sent a from J&P CYCLE or from DENNIS KIRK , then when you got to work on it you will have somethnig to go by, and not trying to guest if your doing it right. J&P-1 800-318-6847, DENNIS KIRK-1-800-969-7504, and tell them what you need.

hi buddy to make it idle on carbs there will be a screw turn it in 1/4 of a turn with the machine sarted and on the over flow is due to the floats either to low or sticking strip the bottom bowl off the carbs by 2-4 srews then inside is the float conected by a pivot pin you slide this out once the pin is out the float will come off with the inlet fuel valve still atached by the wire cage side this valve off and then bend the tab upwards the valve was hanging on this picture will demonstrate bud or if its just sticking unfree it with wd40 and then to the forks follow th instructions on this sit buddy http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/howto/replace_fork_seals/index.html

you and many others are looking for this answer, but kawasaki do not keep paint codes for there older bikes ( i had a 79 z1000 )and had no luck from kawasaki via email phone calls etc, the only thing you can do is use a piece that is as good as new and get it matched from a good paint shop ,
good web site on these bikes with many looking for the paint codes somebody might be able to help..
