Trying to find the crank/starter fuse on the 2005 kawasaki 1600 Vulcan Classic... All I'm getting is a click
2005 Kawaski Vulcan 1600 Classic
Keep pressing the starter and find out were the click is comeing from,, then change the starter solenoid, it sounds like this is at fault
Testimonial: "Thanks will go back out and try that...then I just have find the starter solenoid...I'm no mechanic but trying to learn to do some of this myself..."
hi its mike 756
if you check out the battery state of charge as well that may help you,, if the battery is flat or very low on charge this could also cause the starter to just click but there may still be amps left in it to light the head light however that may go out if you try to start the bike up,, so you may need to re-charge the bikes battery up as well,,, i use a solar charger when i leave my bike stood up over winter,,, its a 12 volt 2.5 watt unit i hook it up to the bike battery and as long as the solar sell see,s good light it charges the battery
it can be left hooked up forever as it wont hurt the battery and it cannot discharge it,, as it has a diode to stop this,,free power!!
it also doubles the life of the battery as it never gos flat,,
i hope this is of some help to you,,,mike,
