I've a yamaha yzf-r6. Problem- Lost all drive in any gear!!!??

Hi guys, i hav a yamaha yzf-r6. I am very new to bikes, this is my first and have only done about 1500 miles so far.
The problem i have is no drive in any gear with the clutch out. I can put the bike through al the gears normally with the clutch in or OUT without any crunching of the gears. . . . . ???? (wen the bike is running)!
The clutch lever feels perfectly normal, traced the cable back to the casing and the lever on the side of the casing seems to be working normal. . . . ???
It seems something internal, like the clutch is constantly in, or stuck, but i cant understand this as i say it feels normal.
I hope its something simple but have a horrible feeling its something more serious like a stripped shaft!!!
This seems to have triggered from wen i came to get it out (after putting it away as normal after a ride).
I had a flat battery, asked a few mates the best way to start it, they said bump or jump start. I tried bump starting twice from second gear, no luck so got the jump leads out and it started fine.
Come to ride away and this is wen i noticed all of the above, ie no drive at all. As i say everything seems normal , running etc i'm just not going anywhere and i can go through all the gears with the clutch out . . . !!!??
HELP PLEASE!!

It could actually be that the countershaft sprocket has stripped-out the splines that engage it to the countershaft. Take off the cover and have a look at the sprocket. Hopefully it is only the sprocket that is damaged and not the transmission shaft that it mounts to.
Another possibility is that the clutch cable has somehow gotten waaay out of adjustment. Just feel the clutch lever; you should have some free play at the lever. In other words, the first 1/4" or so of lever movement should do nothing except take up a small amount of slack in the cable.
Are you sure it is actually going into gear? Or have the splines on the shift shaft stripped-out? These are the things I would check first. If it isn't one of these, then I predict some major transmission work is in your future.

Does anyone know of any tranny probs. w/ 04' YZF-R6?

I have a friend he had an R1 his 2nd and 3rd gears blew out and wheelies seemed to be the culprit. in the wheelie the trans oil drains to the back of the trans starving the first few gears of oil.was your bike a wheelie machine? you may never know.
