SOURCE: Will a Yamaha engine from a Benelli Velvet fit

Bruce, take a few rough measurements from both engines. Measure at the frame mounting locations. If one location measures 6" and the same location on the other engine measures 7" then obviously there is a swap out problem. If the rough measurements appear to be very close it will likely work. The only way to know for sure is to try the swap. It may be possible to cut and relocate a mount or two to adapt the frame for the new engine. Just be sure the chain lines up with the rear sprocket.

SOURCE: accelator cale playing up on yamaha majesty 250.

The correct term is Throttle Cable. use needle nose pliers to remove it from the grip, take your new cable and run it the same way the old one was ran. follow the old one, then take the old cable out after installing the new cable.
