Most likely some one has added a tire sealant to the tube and the core is not unscrewing. Are you turning it counterclockwise? If it is stuck and you cannot make it move then you will need to replace the stem by letting all the air out and braking down the tire bead. If it has a tube, replace it. If it is tubeless pull the old stem out and and put in the new one.
If it continues to turn, the threads may be stripped and the stem replaced. If it has worked out a little, try using needle nose pliers to remove it.

SOURCE: Can I change the tire pressure valve stems on my

does the car have TPMS? if so they make a kit where u can replace the core of the stem that will re seal it. if it only has a standard valve stem then a tire shop should have replaced them with the set of tires, the only way to replace them is to remove the tire.

How do I remove a valve stem from riding mower rim?

If your simply replacing it with a new one or installing an inner tube you take a sharp knife and cut back side off. Don't cut completely as you want to catch that piece before it falls inside the tire. Then you simple pull the stem breaking that piece off, catching the back piece as it falls.

If you wanting to put back in a new stem for tubeless use you need a t-shape valve core wrench. After you place the new stem in the hole you thread the tool on and pull the new stem into place.

How to change tyre valve stem core

Sometimes you can start turning them out (they unscrew) with a tiny flat blade screwdriver. Or you can go to a parts store and buy a small package of tire valve caps that have the two small prongs for removing valve cores. Walmart probably has them, too.

The pump is connected to the tire and when I turn it on, the power turns on but does not pump tire. The pressure reader is higher than the current pressure than the tire. I have even tried turning the...

The end that connects to the valve stem on some of these pumps doesn't always extend into the stem far enough to push the valve open. Using a valve stem tool, back the valve stem out a few turns so the hose end can engage the valve. The valve may leak just a bit but the pump will overcome this and you'll turn the valve back in when you remove the pump hose before you can lose any appreciable amount of air.

LOW TIER PRESURE

if its 1 tire low obviously look for a nail in the tread or a leaky valve stem. if you cannot find a nail/screws etc in the tread. take stem cap off spray windex on stem right into the center, if you see bubbles, your stem is leaking, replace the core, cheap... available at auto stores, also need special tool to remove stem( cheap).
if all 4 are low, might be due to cold temps, tires loose i think 3 psi per 10 deg drop in temp,

How to turn of tire lite that looks like an

Check your tire pressure, and adjust as necessary first.

Next, have you changed anything having to do with the rims/tires/valve stems? The valve stems mounted in your factory rims have a tire pressure monitoring sensor/transmitter mounted on the inside. The valve stem itself is the antenna for the transmitter. If you have had the valve stems, valve cores, or even the valve caps replaced, that can cause a fault in the system.

Also if you used a canned flat repair like 'Fix-A-Flat', that could be clogging the sensor. I don't recommend using fix-a-flat on tires with TPMS, but if you're in a jam, sometimes you have to.

If you had the tires changed, the shop has to be careful when mounting and dismounting the tires. The sensors are easy to damage with tire tools.

In order to reset the TPMS, there is a small button either in the glove compartment, or under the steering wheel. Turn the ignition to the 'on' position without starting the engine. Press and hold the button for approximately three seconds. The light will begin flashing. Release the button and wait at least 7 seconds for the system to relearn the sensors. Then turn the key to the 'off' position. Start the engine, and check that the light turns off after about a second.

If the light still stays on, you need to have the TPMS serviced by a qualified mechanic. This should be either a Toyota dealer, or a shop that uses the appropriate TPMS testing equipment.

Good luck, I hope this helped!

The compressor continues to run but no air enters the tire, the tire just seems to get more and more flat.

Hi, I suspect the plunger for the valve stem connector on the pressure head is not depressing the air release pin in the head of the valve stem.

I have a Black and Decker and have to use a valve stem seat removal tool to quicky unscrew about 3 to 4 turns the stem seal and then connect the air hose head. After the tire reaches the correct air pressure I have go thru the tighten the valve stem seat drill.

You can buy the vavle stem seat tool at any auto parts store. I keep mine with the compressor.

I don't want this to sound bad but... is the air hose supply vavle turned on? Some have a slider button on the valve you have to push to charge the hose. If the hose is charged then see above.

Thanks for using FixYa.

How to take back wheel off 95 1000 kawasaki gpz

If you only need to replace the valve stem, you can get a removal tool and sparestems at an autmotive parts store. If you need to take off rear tire, the steps should be obvious. Loosen chain tensioner but before you do this use a marker or some other marks to show original location, which eases re-installation.

Fix a front flat tire on a mongoose varial bike

The first step is to remove the wheel assembly from the bike. Once that is done insure all the air is removed from the tube by holding in the needle on the valve stem. You may have to remove the cap from your valve stem first. Next, using a flat blunt tool, pry the inside lip of the tire away from the rim and hold down the tool. Make sure you don't have the tube pinched with your tool. Next, using a second tool, repeat the first step about 6" from the first tool. This should start the tire to come off the rim on the side you are working on. You should now be able to pull out the tube and inspect for holes. Use a simple tire patch kit if you can or simply replace the tube.

To replace the tube, remove the valve stem cap and insert it from the tire side through the hole in the rim for access. Replace cap on stem to help hold valve in place. Carefully lay tube inside tire without folding it. You may have to bunch it up a bit. Start pushing tire edge back around the edge of the rim. When you get almost to the end it will get tough to if the tire is tight.Use your blunt tool to help it over the edge of the rim. Once the tire is on, make sure the valve stem is pulled up tight and straight before refilling with air. Inspect the tire to make sure it is seated on the rim all the way around on both sides. If not, release air from tube and make adjustments and refill. Replace wheel on bike and enjoy your day!
